Friday, May 16th	Candlelighting - 7:47 p.m. Shabbat Services at 6:00 p.m. Come help make a minyan and participate in welcoming Shabbat.

Saturday, May 17th	Shabbat morning services at 9:30 a.m. followed as always by a Kiddush luncheon

Sunday, May 18th	Morning Services at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School meets at 9:30 a.m. If you know families with young children who may be interested in the school have them call about visiting on a Sunday morning when school is in session.

Tuesday, May 20th	Temple Board Meeting at 7:15 p.m.

Monday, May 26th	Memorial Day - services at 9:30 a.m.

Friday, May 30th	Shabbat on the Road at the Home of Andrea and Steve Solomon at 6:00 p.m. RSVP to Temple Office.

Classes and Meetings

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. - Classes for pre-school, Kindergarten and 1st graders with Karen Jacobs.

Adult Education Tropes Class at 10:00 a.m. - learn to chant a haftarah or read from the Torah. Basic Hebrew reading skills are a prerequisite.

Basic Judaism Classes on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. If you know anyone who is interested in learning about Judaism including prospective converts, non-Jewish spouses of Jews who want to understand the traditions, non-Jewish neighbors who are curious about our religion, Jews who want to learn more about the traditions of our faith, anyone, have them contact Rabbi Friedman.

Monthly Talmud Discussion, Next meeting June 3th, at 7:30 p.m.

Meditation Sessions (Quiet Mind) at Temple Israel ,on Wednesdays at 7:30. Meditation Practice for Peace and Well-being. Learn to heal and restore your inner world. Perfect for beginners or experienced practitioners, sessions are independent so it's ok if you missed the first one. ($12/session or $60 for six sessions paid in advance) starting Wed, April 30th. Yoga for Everyone - Gentle Yoga Classes: Breathing, Balance and Flexibility Training - Thursday 10:00 to 11:30 AM. Safe and easy for people of all ages and abilities, taught by Janice Friedman at Temple Israel. ($12/session or $60 for six sessions paid in advance) starting Thursday May 1st.
